My only complaint is the food want very good. Went with the family. Tried salad, pizza, pretzels, burger and brownie. All were just ok. I won't go here expecting to eat dinner. But drinks and snacks during the movie are still worth it. Service was excellent. The staff is very responsive. Seats are comfortable. Only lower level reclines but that's ok since you wouldn't be able to see if you're laying down and in a stadium seat. Lower level back to is what I recommend if you want a recliner.
Food was great, that is the reason for the first two stars. The third star is for the service. There is NO WAY I would give more, because unless you get the reclining seats in the front, you'd be better off attempting to sleep in a gravel pit. The seating is horrendous in the rear. Shallow seating with very little recline. No, I'm not fat. I am 6 ft. 180 lbs, it does not take a lot to support me in a chair. Sorry!
Studio movie grill is not bad by any means. They have average to good food depending on what you order, a large drink menu, good atmosphere and okay staff. Wednesday before Thanksgiving is hard to have plenty of staff I'm sure. I prefer the eatery in McKinney or Alamo Drafthouse (my personal favorite) but if studio movie grill has the best time and is closest to me, it'll do just fine.
My experience was horrible. The bathrooms were disgusting. If they keep the kitchen half as clean as the bathrooms I said to my friends... We are all going to die. I will not go back because of my experience. Other patrons said they had complained 3 times about the cleanliness of the establishment that night. I truly hope your experience is different than mine.
This location is our favorite Studio Movie Grill. It's not the closest to our home, but we'll drive a little farther for this one! It's clean, the margarita flatbread is delicious, and the service is usually pretty good. The first three rows of seats have recliners, which is awesome for short people whose feet don't touch the floor otherwise. I just wish they had recliners a little farther back; I'd rather not sit quite so close to the screen.
