Clean and well-run. The staff are very friendly. John has done a lot to clean this place up over the years. He's a retired firefighter from Florida. He's really an amazing guy.
Nice park, has a lake nearby and gazebos to throw parties. Playgrounds are basic. Downside is you have to pay to enter which is about $7 a car but do what I did and just park outside and walk in.
I thought the park was very clean. And I'm definitely going back to tent camp again. The sunset looking at pier 121 was very cool.
The park is very well maintained by great, friendly staff. Beautiful trails around the lake and lots of great camping spots.
Thumbs up! Staff is courteous and helpful. I had a tent site with a great view of the lake. A great getaway and plan on returning in the future.
